About us
Who we are
We are a family run business out of our 1500sqf barn in Massachusetts. We are scaling to meet the demand of our customers and strive to the best quality with the quickest turn around.
But really who are you?
I am the father of 5 kids and started the original business as a way for my older kids to learn about business. From there, it has grown beyond selling ornaments to friends, family and neighbors. It was a great way to get started and provided us the ideas to move forward. We still keep it small and "in the family", but we leverage that "family" to mean more than just us.
What's with the name?
When looking for a name, we looked no further than our new puppy "Strawberry Shortcake". Not wanting to leverage the whole name for obvious reasons, we kept it short. The "Workshop" came into play when we knew we needed room to grow and took over "Dad's Workshop". I have always been an avid craftsman with wood and other materials. My mother was the ultimate crafter and ran her own business out of our home in Wiscasset ME... "Ye Old Country Connection". I am sure she would be proud of what we have accomplished here at Strawberry's Workshop
Do you have a Store?
Since all of our work is custom and can take several days to complete, we don't see the need to have a brick and mortar location. Not to say it will never happen... we just don't have the need yet
Do you sell anything else?
At this time, we chose to focus on getting the online store launched and see how it goes. We have some ideas in the future to build on, but right now what you see is what we have. If you were looking for a cool Strawberry's Workshop t-shirt or hoodie let us know...
